OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
COLLECTION Day
NOVEMBER 15TH
Be a part of sharing the gospel and blessing children around the world by packing a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. A simple shoebox filled with gifts can demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
It’s time to begin packing. Pick up an empty shoebox in the lobby and begin to pray over the child who will receive your shoebox. Turn in shoeboxes by Sunday, November 15th.

BIBLE SCIENCE FELLOWSHIP
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8TH
The DVD, Living Fossils, critically examines the most basic tenet of evolution: Animals and plants changed over time. In a most fascinating approach, Dr. Werner compares fossils found in dinosaur rock layers with living organisms. He asks this simple and straightforward question: Did animals and plants change over time as the theory of evolution suggests, or did dinosaurs and other animals simply go extinct? The answer he found was startling.
This event will be held at the Cape Girardeau Public Library at 7pm.
