The beginning of a New Year is a wonderful time to reflect on both the past, present, and future. A time of year that many people are thinking about New Year’s resolutions. Resolving to do certain things is wonderful; carrying out these resolutions can be difficult. It takes commitment, strength, and resolve to see growth in particular areas of our lives. Just before getting back to our study of 1 & 2 Timothy, Pastor Josh will lead us through our third annual Stewardship month mini-series to help us consider the importance of continuing to grow in the New Year.

Every Christian is commanded to learn how to disciple another brother or sister effectively with the truth of God’s inspired and sufficient Truth (Col. 3:16 2 Tim. 3:16). Since the Lord commands us to play an active role in each other’s life it is important to grow in our proficiency of how to disciple according to God’s Word. Whether you are involved in teaching, training, serving in youth, men’s & women’s ministry, parenting your children, marriage ministry, or just simply desire to grow in your own walk with the Lord, this training is for you!

Small groups are just what the name implies: small groups of individuals who gather weekly to learn, grow, support one another, build friendships and just do "life" together. Through these groups, we seek God to transform our lives. Small groups and our youth and children’s programs will begin the week of January 20th.

The Men's Ministry is inviting all men high school age and up to come enjoy some friendly competition with a pickleball tournament January 25th from 2-4pm at Freedom Fitness Zone. This is a free event. The deadline to register is January 24th.

Come together as a church body to celebrate God’s goodness in 2024 and gain a vision for 2025. We’ll share a meal together, sing praise to God, and share what’s in store for the new year. Dinner will begin at 6:00pm.

We are in need of several volunteers to help prepare for this year's Annual Meeting. Help is needed before and during the event.

The "Starting Point" class digs into the doctrine and theology of The Chapel, who we are as a body, and what membership looks like.  This class serves as a great introduction to The Chapel for new attenders, and is a required step for membership at The Chapel.

The next class will meet during the Sunday School hour (9:00am) in Room B3 for five Sundays beginning February 2nd.
