Care Ministry

Biblical counseling at The Chapel

Cape Bible Chapel’s Care Ministry desires to help and encourage individuals and families with the life changing truth of God's Word. (2 Peter 1:3; 2 Timothy 3:16-17) At times in our lives it can feel like a fog has descended upon us, making it difficult for us to find our way out of the darkness. God's sufficient Word is the light that breaks through this darkness, giving us clarity, hope, and strength during a time when all feels lost. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

The Chapel's FREE Care Ministry gives biblical guidance for your relationship with Christ and others. Our lives are shaped by how we think and what we love. These two areas have an incredible impact on how we interpret our life situations. No matter our struggles - interpersonal relationships, marriage, anxiety, PTSD, abuse, adoption, infertility, abortion, parenting, addictions, sexual issues, guilt and shame, anger, depression or Christian faith issues (assurance of salvation, etc.) - God's Word does have the answers.

biblical counseling is:

Faith Based and Christ Focused

The most effective counsel one can receive is the counsel that guides a person to become like Christ.

Biblically Saturated

The SCRIPTURE is completely SUFFICIENT to guide believers toward a right RELATIONSHIP with GOD and OTHERS. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Community Minded

The Care Ministry of Cape Bible Chapel strives to help those HURTING within our community. We understand that HOPELESSNESS is often followed by feeling HELPLESS. Our Care Ministry seeks to help you get from where you are to where God wants you to be.

Local Church Focused

We believe in the centrality of the local church and strive to connect those in need with other believers who will provide encouragement and accountability along the Christian journey.

Organizationally Connected

Our counseling staff consists of pastors who hold degrees in biblical counseling and trained lay leaders who are equipped to give quality, Christ-like care. All counselors are certified (or in the process of certification) by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.

  • There is no charge for our counseling services. Cape Bible Chapel provides the funding and facilities and the counselors volunteer their time so counseling can be offered free of charge. If God leads you to give back to the ministry, donations can be given to Cape Bible Chapel through our giving link. These gifts of appreciation enable the ministry to reach as many people as possible with care and resources. No donation is required in order for you to receive help, so don’t let finances stop you from receiving care.

  • Counseling is offered primarily on Mondays during the day/evening depending on the availability of our counselors. Typically, counseling sessions last from an hour to an hour and a half.

  • The first step is to fill out the Member Help Form or Counseling Intake Form below. Once this form is received a counselor will connect with you through email or phone to notify you of openings.
