DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SEMINAR

jANUARY 17-18, FEBRUARY 21-22, MARCH 21-22

Christians are commanded “to go and make disciples.” (Matthew 28:19-20) While the command is clear, believers are often reluctant because they believe they are personally inadequate for this task. Christians will often point someone in need of discipleship to someone else instead of engaging the individual and walking alongside them.

Every Christian is commanded to learn how to disciple another brother or sister effectively with the truth of God’s inspired and sufficient Truth (Col. 3:16 2 Tim. 3:16). Since the Lord commands us to play an active role in each other’s life it is important to grow in our proficiency of how to disciple according to God’s Word. Whether you are involved in teaching, training, serving in youth, men’s & women’s ministry, parenting your children, marriage ministry, or just simply desire to grow in your own walk with the Lord, this training is for you!

“The training at One-Eighty is largely designed to support and assist church members and ministers who sense the need to strengthen their effectiveness in helping those who suffer and/or falter in their church and neighborhood communities… We provide training that flows out of gospel truths, focuses on change from the heart out, and is intensely practical in its use of all the biblical elements of change. Attending the training helps any believer or counselor strengthen their reliance on the collaborative supernatural resources God has provided for change. Our classes deal very specifically with real life issues, offering the tools needed to understand their origin, impact and involvement in the counselee’s life. Attendees gain useful forms, diagrams and resources to give counselees.”
