welcome home

Cape Bible Chapel is a non-denominational, Bible-preaching church located in the Cape Girardeau community that seeks to present people complete before Christ.  Our faith is firmly centered on the victory of Jesus Christ and we find our purpose in God's Word: To proclaim Christ to everyone, so that we might present them complete in Him. Colossians 1:28-29

Take some time to learn about our heart for the Church, our various ministries and events, and how you can find a home here at The Chapel.  We hope to see you Sunday!

Worship Services

We meet for worship Sunday mornings at 10:30am at our campus located at 2911 Kage Road in Cape Girardeau.  This service generally lasts around 75 minutes and includes worship music and a message taught verse by verse from the Bible.  We also live stream our services for those who are unable to join us in person.  You can access the live stream through YouTube.

Nursery is available during Sunday morning worship and Sunday School times for children up to three years old.  Chapel Kids is for children age three through sixth grade and provides age appropriate Sunday school and worship times.  Youth (students in 7th-12th grades) are invited to attend their own class on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and have activities throughout the week as well.  More details on our children's ministry and student ministry pages.

During the 9 o'clock hour, we offer Sunday School Classes for adults, youth, and children.  These classes or groups study varying topics from God's Word in a more intimate setting and are a great place to build relationships and get connected.

We offer small groups, youth and children's programs and special events throughout the week as well.  Visit our events page for both ongoing and special events.  Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30 - we invite you to stop by and see us.  We'd be happy to help you make The Chapel your church home.

Watch or listen to sermon messages online to help you dig deeper into God's Word.

“This church teaches the Word and doesn't sugar coat it. They stand on the Word. Great place!”

    OCTOBER 29 & 30

We welcome author & speaker Dr. Tedd Tripp as our special guest for this year’s Fall Conference. Shepherding a Child’s Heart aims to connect the hearts of God’s people to the power and grace of the gospel. Multiple sessions will offer skills and strategies to reach to the heart of children of all ages.

The Chapel is proud to serve as the Cape Girardeau Drop Off Location for Operation Christmas Child again this year.  The drop-off location is the starting point for the journey each shoebox makes to children around the world.  Last year, OCC collected more than 9.1 million shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items to send to children in more than 100 countries.

Learn what to pack in your shoebox or build a shoebox online.  Collection week for 2021 will be November 15-22.

Locally, we anticipate collecting thousands of shoeboxes from area churches, groups, and individuals and prepare them for their journey to children around the world.  We would love to have you serve alongside us to reach children with the love of Christ.   To serve at our drop-off location during Collection Week, call the office 573-334-5948.
