women's minstry

A mere glance at the checkout rack while waiting in line to buy groceries will show snapshots of society's view of women. Sadly, this also often comes with willing adherence by women. Add to these societal pressures of marriage or dating or kids or work and it becomes hard to discern among all the messages and busyness, what a woman is to be.

Titus 2:3-5
gives one biblical vantage which is far different than that of the world: "Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored."

You're not going to find that on the supermarket rack and it may not be the stuff of award shows. But through our women's ministry we aim to bring honor to God, and in doing so, see love and purity and joy spill over into all aspects of life.

Ladies' bible studies

During the week, women are invited to a group Bible study on Thursday mornings (September through May). They seek to provide relevant teaching for women in diverse stages of life.

We often have a small group for women that meets Wednesday evenings here at The Chapel.

Women's retreat

Annually we seek to provide women the chance to come together and rejuvenate their spiritual lives. Vibrant teaching, joyful fellowship, and emotional renewal are paramount during this refreshing fall weekend.

TESTIMONY EVENTS

The women's ministry hosts Her Story/His Story events a couple times a year. This is an opportunity to hear personal testimonies from Chapel women about God's work in their lives. We also have light refreshments providing for a time to catch up with one another. Check the calendar for the next Her Story/His Story or Women's Gathering.

Mom2Mom

Mom2Mom, also known as M2M, meets the second Friday of every month (September-May) from 9:30-11:30am at Cape Bible Chapel.

We are created with a need for community and being a mom is no exception. In a season where much of our information comes from online sources, the truth is, we need real life, real person relationships to equip us in our parenting, to encourage us and to be there for one another. Our hope with M2M is that in relationship building, in forming our own local mom tribe, we will cover each of these needs as we walk together in the Gospel of Christ.

Adjacent to M2M is M2M Kids, a program which teaches and cares for the children of the moms in the M2M program.

Registration typically opens in April.
