Stewardship Month

January 2026

The beginning of a New Year is a wonderful time to reflect on both the past, present, and future. A time of year that many people are thinking about New Year’s resolutions. Resolving to do certain things is wonderful; carrying out these resolutions can be difficult. It takes commitment, strength, and resolve to see growth in particular areas of our lives. Just before getting back to our study of the Gospel of John, Pastor Josh will lead us through our annual Stewardship month mini-series to help us consider the importance of continuing to grow in the New Year.

Spring Small GroupS

The fruit of the Spirit, listed by Paul in Galatians 5, is a commonly memorized list that, on its surface, seems simple enough. It includes virtues many may view as an idealistic goal we may or may not eventually obtain. Yet, as we dig a little deeper, we are left with the reality that this list, as idealistic as it may sound, is not simply an end goal for the spiritual elite amongst us. Rather, these fruits are intended to be seen as an inevitable reality in the life of every believer. The question remains, then, why do so many struggle to bear that fruit?

We'll look through Paul's list in our Spring Small Groups and seek to address that struggle. As we do, we will see the source of the fruit, the appearance of the fruit, and the process of growing that fruit in our everyday life.

Small groups and our youth and children’s programs will begin January 21st.
