Dr. Josh Stephens - Lead Pastor

Josh has served as the Lead Pastor at The Chapel since 2022 and has been in ministry for over 25 years. Josh is the Founder/Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Alliance which serves to produce resources and online instruction in the area of Biblical Discipleship/Counseling. Josh is a certified Biblical Counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Josh completed a Doctor of Ministries in Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, MA in Biblical Counseling and a Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Josh and His wife, Michelle have been married for 26 years and blessed with five wonderful children; three girls, two boys.
Andy Callis - Student Ministries Pastor

Andy was born and raised in the Cape/Jackson area. He attended Southeast MO State where he met his wife Sara through involvement in campus ministry. After graduation, Andy had a desire to serve the Lord through the church. This soon lead him into student ministry bi-vocationally. In 2009, God opened the door for Andy to join The Chapel as Student Ministries Pastor. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Faith Seminary in Lafayette, IN. Andy and Sara have three children and three cute little pets (a dog, Sage; a cat, Dorothy; and a bunny, Buddy). Andy enjoys college football and is a huge Tennessee Vols fan. He loves playing ultimate frisbee, working out, and time with his wife and kids.
Jeff Grindstaff - Worship Pastor

Jeff is one of the most familiar faces at Cape Bible Chapel leading weekly worship services with our praise team. Jeff was born and raised in Southeast Missouri. He grew up in Fredericktown, MO living with his mom and stepdad and spent many weekends on the farm with his dad in Patton. Attending weekly worship services, Jeff fell in love with singing and music. He was involved in ministry as a vocalist/musician and later a singer/songwriter for Image of Unity (I.O.U.), an independent Christian rock/pop band. Jeff earned a degree in Fitness and Sports Medicine from SEMO, while playing rec sports and training athletes. He met his beautiful bride, Dana, in college and they were married in August, 2002. They live in Jackson with their son, Mason, and daughter, Summer. Before joining The Chapel as Worship Pastor in 2014, Jeff worked as an Exercise Therapist and a Rehab Technician. He still enjoys fitness, and when he’s not preparing chord sheets and rehearsing the band, he also enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports and, of course, music.
Jeremy Kallin - Children's & Family Pastor

Jeremy joined The Chapel staff as the interim Children’s pastor in 2005. Prior to that he was attending seminary in Chattanooga, Tennessee and preparing to serve on the foreign mission field. After only a few months at The Chapel God redirected him and Jeremy accepted the full-time position as Children’s pastor. Since that time his position has also come to include family ministries and missions. Jeremy was born in St. Paul, MN but grew up in Brazil where his parents served as missionaries. He received his undergraduate degree from College of the Ozarks and his master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Temple Baptist Seminary. He and his wife, Sher, have three children, Gracie, Mirtnesh, and Cooper. Jeremy enjoys time with his family, disc golf, and most anything out doors.
