college ministry

The Chapel is proud to be a church home to students at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO). During the academic year, students are invited to The Chapel Conference Center on Sundays at 9:30am to grab a bagel, hear a quick message, and catch up.  We want you to come (and bring friends) and invest in the lives of others. It's a great opportunity for new students to walk in and connect without being overwhelmed.

CBC was my church in college. Having come from another denomination I was new to the teaching styles of CBC.  I met many wonderful people while learning much about the bible and myself. Today I'm glad to say it was and still is my home away from home.

Campus Outreach

Cape Bible Chapel is also blessed to have a long-time relationship with Campus Outreach at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO).  Campus Outreach is a ministry built on relationships.  It is through these life-on-life relationships that college students come to know Christ, mature in their relationship with Him, and share their lives and faith with others through evangelism and discipleship.

Adopt-a-student program

We want to connect college students with a family away from home.  In the fall, interested college students will be paired with Chapel members/families to bless one another with their time and lives.  Encouragement can be as simple as a home-cooked meal, offering the use of a washer/dryer, or a quiet place to study and get away.
