college ministry

The Chapel has a heart for college students. This is evident every Sunday morning as the front section overflows with over a hundred students and is affectionately known as the 'college section'.  The college ministry also offers a Sunday morning fellowship time at 9:30am in The Chapel Conference Center (during the academic year).  This time together is merely a chance to slow down.  We want you to come (and bring friends) and invest in the lives of others. For believers, this will be a valuable time of growth with one another; and for unbelievers, it is a chance to walk in and connect without being overwhelmed.  Typically a brief message will be given on a topic relative to college life.

Campus Outreach

Cape Bible Chapel is also blessed to have a long-time relationship with Campus Outreach at Southeast Missouri State University.  Campus Outreach is a ministry built on relationships.   It is through these life-on-life relationships that college students come to know Christ, mature in their relationship with Him, and share their lives and faith with others through evangelism and discipleship.
The influence of Campus Outreach does not end at graduation. Success is measured best by the students who carry the vision of reaching the lost world with them after college.

Adopt-a-student program

We want to connect college students with a family away from home.  In the fall, interested college students will be paired with Chapel members/families to bless one another with their time and lives.  Encouragement can be as simple as a home-cooked meal, offering the use of a washer/dryer, or a quiet place to study and get away.
