Membership at Cape Bible Chapel

Church membership is an important topic at The Chapel, because we desire to use the Bible as our guide for church structure and organization. In the Book of Acts, as the early church began, there are numerous references to counting the number of people who were involved. Each person mattered to them – just as each person here at The Chapel matters to us.

We see clear benefits to joining with a local body of believers. From the church’s vantage point, membership allows for intentionality in knowing who to pray for and helps identify the people we are responsible to care for as part of our family. From the member’s side, joining provides the spiritual benefit of being supported and encouraged by a like-minded community.

You can read more about active membership in our Membership & Service Statement. If you are interested in pursuing membership at Cape Bible Chapel, we encourage you to check out our next "Starting Point" class. Scroll to the bottom of this page for more information.
