During the 10:30 Worship Service on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12th, parents have an opportunity to make a public commitment before God and The Chapel Body expressing the desire to raise their children biblically for the glory of the Lord.

The Men’s Ministry team invites everyone to come together for a regular evening of prayer the first Sunday of every month. Beginning June 2nd, they will gather from 7:00-8:00pm in the Conference Center to pray for our church, for our neighborhood, for the nations, and for the next generation. The evening will begin with corporate prayer and then break out into smaller groups. All are invited as we bring our praise and our petitions to the Lord.

Junior High & High School Students are invited to Pickford, MI for this year’s summer camp. Cost is $300 and deadline to sign up is May 19th.

Every day, blood donations help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Meet this ongoing need by giving blood at our next drive, Tuesday, June 4th from 1:30-5:30pm in The Chapel gym.

Strength in Christ Men's Ministry is hosting a breakfast in the gym on Saturday, June 8th from 8:30-10:30am. The event includes breakfast, worship, prayer, fellowship, testimony, and teaching. All men and high-school age boys are welcome to this free event.

Bring your kids to an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. Kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about! Each day at Scuba VBS, kids experience skits, games, crafts, and songs to help reinforce Bible Points in a fun memorable way. VBS will meet from 8:45-11:45 each morning, June 24-28. VBS is free and open to children from age 4 through those entering 6th grade in the fall of 2024.

Online registration will close on June 22nd. After that, parents/guardians will have to arrive with their child on Monday morning to register them in person.

Our Annual Cape Splash Night will be Saturday, June 29th. It’s a great way for our VBS kids and their families to come and meet our Chapel family in a fun, welcoming environment. It’s also a great opportunity to extend an invite to friends, neighbors, and co-workers who don’t have a home church. This event runs from 6:30-8:30pm and admission is FREE! Join us for a great time of fellowship and fun. 

On Sunday, June 30th, instead of Sunday School, we'll all gather at 9:00am in the gym for breakfast. At 10:30, we'll worship all together, from youngest to oldest, and every stage in between.

*We will not have nursery or Sunday School during the 9:00 hour so teachers and families can enjoy this time together. (Kids Worship will not meet during the 10:30 worship, but nursery for ages 0-3 will be available).

Mike & Sue Edmunds are opening their home in Jackson again this year on July 4th from 7:00-9:00pm. Hang out and enjoy root beer floats with your Chapel family. Then watch the fireworks show from their yard or head across the street to the park.

The student ministry is taking a trip to Tijuana with Mexico Caravan Ministries July 21-27 to hear from missionaries, build houses for those in need, and minister at an orphanage. Please be in prayer for the team as they raise support and prepare for their trip.

Ladies, our next Her Story/His Story event will be on Tuesday, July 23rd from 7-8:30pm downstairs in the Conference Center. We will be blessed as we hear testimonies from three Chapel women of God’s work in their lives, plus enjoy fellowship and light snacks. Women high school age and older are welcome.

Kid’s Summer Camp is coming in August! We will be going to Pinecrest Camp and Conference Center near Fredericktown, MO. Children Ages 8-12 are invited.

Mark your calendars for a church-wide Party in the Park on Sunday, August 25th from 6:00-8:00pm at Cape County Park South - we have shelter #24 reserved near Levi’s Playground. This annual event includes a meal, plenty of conversation, games, and playground fun.
